Please be sure to have your account number and a machine serial number to hand in order to log into the site (these can be found in your notification email).
Once you have logged on you will be presented with a schedule of the machines with outstanding reading requirements. The schedule will already contain the machine serial number, description and the type of reading required. Simply enter the reading for your machines(s) and press the Submit button.
If you are entering a reading for a colour machine please submit values for the total black and white reading, the total colour reading and the total of the black and white and colour reading combined.
If at this point there is an obvious problem with your reading(s), such as the incorrect number of digits or a number below the previous reading, then you will be asked to check and re-submit the information.
In this way mistakes can quickly be identified and further queries eliminated.
If the system has rejected your reading, and you are absolutely sure that the reading you have submitted is correct, simply enter the reading again and it will be accepted.
Once all your readings are accepted just click the Log Out button and you have completed the process.
Submitting Your Readings by Email
If you choose to submit your meter readings by email please note that the message will be processed electronically, not manually, and so it is important to follow these instructions accurately.
When you receive an email requesting your latest machine readings click the 'Reply' button within your email system.
If your email system does not automatically populate your reply with the text of the message you have received please 'cut and paste' it into your reply.
Scroll down the message to the meter reading email response section and input your reading(s) immediately after the = sign that ends the machine description.
Don't worry if your email program adds characters to the beginning of the line (e.g. the > character).
Finally, click the 'Send' button in your email system to return the message to Xerox UK, register here.
Submitting Your Readings by Telephone
Please be sure to have your account number and a machine serial number to hand in order to access the service (these can be found in your email).
Simply dial the meter reading number - 0845 270 2020 - to access the fully automated service.
You will be asked to input your account number, the serial number of the machine for which you are submitting a reading and the reading itself, using the keys on your telephone.
You will then be asked whether you have another machine reading to submit. Follow the same process as above to submit as many machine readings as required.
If at this point there is an obvious problem with your reading(s), such as the incorrect number of digits or a number below the previous reading, then you will be asked to check and re-submit the information.
In this way mistakes can quickly be identified and further queries eliminated.

Once you have entered all your readings simply hang up. Calls should typically last no more than 1 minute and are charged at 10p per minute.
