The DocuPrint 850, which consists of twin DocuPrint 425 Print Engines to enable two sided duplex printing, expands Xerox's industry-leading monochrome production printing line-up and sets benchmarks for productivity, flexibility and ease of use. The first Xerox Continuous Feed Printer to offer switchable pinless or pinfed paper transport, the DocuPrint 850 opens the door to print-on-demand applications including Books and Manuals, along with high speed transactional applications such as Statements and Invoices.
It all begins with a new 15-inch colour touch screen with an intuitive graphical user interface allowing operators to easily set up, monitor and change print jobs. Print engines and feeding/finishing devices are connected with the Xerox-exclusive Intelligent Print Line Manager, providing more flexibility and control over the entire print line.
At 195 feet per minute, the DocuPrint 850 prints 850 2-up 8.5" x 11" (216 x 279 mm) two-sided impressions per minute. A printable width of 44mm (17.5") ensures added productivity for applications calling for multiple up printing. And the DocuPrint 850, at 600 dpi, consistently delivers razor-sharp, detailed images and crisp, clear text through enhanced soft roll fusing and a new imaging system. With world-class feeding and finishing partners such as Stralfors, Roll Systems, Hunkeler and others, the DocuPrint 850 can productively handle pinfed or pinless box- or roll-fed media in a variety of stocks and substrates, reducing waste and increasing the types of jobs you're able to produce.
The DocuPrint 850 provides a new level of flexibility and productivity for printers who produce both transactional and publishing documents.
