DocuTech 6100 Series customers can now add full colour digital printers without changing their shops' fundamental workflow. The Xerox DocuSP® 2000XC™ Controller for the DocuColor 2060/2045 uses a DocuSP platform that is common to both colour and monochrome. Customers can select the appropriate printer for a job based upon cost, throughput and the nature of the content. In-plant operations, corporate reprographic departments and service bureaux that want to increase their options can now choose to convert existing monochrome jobs to colour jobs while maintaining their current user interface and work process. Rather than outsource short-run process colour jobs, customers can migrate from offset to internally produced digital jobs using the power and reliability of DocuSP.

Sophisticated colour management using Xrite DTP41 Spectrophotometer -- allows DocuSP to go beyond density control, to a "grey-balance" calibration, which adjusts cross-channel interactions to maintain accurate neutrals.
Colour options can be set at the queue, job, page or object level.
Full support for VIPP jobs provided in next release; coding variable information jobs in PostScript may be preferred in current release
Jobs can be submitted in PostScript3, ASCII, TIFF, PCL 5c and PDF formats.
