Phaser 4510 4.6 5 64 65 Fast and reliable I find the Xerox printers to be Fast & Reliable. I print many documents each day and I am always pleased with the outcome. October 31, 2011 Extremely fast, love the web based interface. This printer is very easy to set up when the appropriate drivers are selected. We are using this printer in our home and I did the set-up on a Windows 7, 64bit OS. I have to say, this proved rather difficult , mostly because the Firmware on the printer was out-of-date (the printer kept restarting itself). So I thought, I'll update the Firmware! BIG MISTAKE. The printer did one of its restarts during the update which made the printer unresponsive. I was able to swap it with another unit with the correct firmware pre-installed and subsequent setup was a breeze. I have other Xerox printers as well and really like them as well. Tip for home users: I have a dedicated "print room" with a Phaser 5500 (tabloid) and this printer setup. Works great, these machines are large and can be difficult to hide on a side table somewhere. When we send prints from the livingroom, the printer has finished its job during my 70' trek through the house. This way you can claim that this printer is somewhat of an exercise machine for me - nice benefit. October 27, 2011 Product withstands continuous heavy use and only asks for ink and an occasional Maintenance Kit. Product(s) perform without issues or problems despite heavy use by more than 120 employees. Reliability is excellent for a machine that has already past it's warranty period. October 27, 2011 Fantastic Phaser 4510 I purchased this Phaser 4510 to replace a Xerox Printer that has gotten me through the last Ten Year of Imy ncome Tax Business and I was reluctant because that printer was the best I have had in over 35 years of business. This printer has out did itself, and passed any expectations I may have had. Thank you for the opportunity to tell my story. October 27, 2011 Reliable Printer We have these in our student computer rooms and they get very heavy use and rarely break down. Easy to use. October 27, 2011 Good but could be better Love the speed and the auto sensing for having a permanent envelope tray in tray 1. Wish it had the bypass tray for printing small amounts of checks however. Do I recommend this? Yes. Do I think there is better out there? Yes but perhaps not at this price. October 26, 2011 A reliable printer with excellent firmware Our company currently has 86 Phaser 4510's. We have very little problems with them. We like these printers especially because: 1. They come with true Adobe PostScript. "PostScript emulation" offered by other printer vendors is more likely to have problems printing PostScript generated by Adobe applications. 2. They come with a Job Accounting feature which provides detailed information about the resources consumed by each print job. 3. The internal web server is quite well designed and easy to use. It has a "configuration cloning" feature which can save you time if you have several printers. October 25, 2011 Solid printers, easy to maintain. These printers work welll for our applications. They are easy to maintain and are easy to load with checks and use. Print quality is good and we've had no issues at the bank with processing the checks.
