Dedicated server is recommended for SafeQ Instant Edition, however it is possible to run the solution on exiting server. Virtualised HW (VMware) is also suitable if the virtual machine meets the same HW requirements as it was physical server.

| VMWare Limitation |
Following rules are mandatory for successful operation on virtual machine:
- For the virtual machine, set Disable page trimming (or some similar option to prevent the virtual machine’s memory to be swapped out)
- Set the CPU affinity of the wrapper.exe and java.exe processes to make sure they only run on one CPU

- Support for Windows, Netware, Linux, Macintosh workstation
- Support of print from SAP, AS400 and other information systems
- Optional Active Directory or Novell eDirectory integration
- Integration with the certified printers and MFPs
