Xerox Apprenticeship Programme

About the Programme

A Xerox apprenticeship combines on-the-job training within the organisation with off-the-job learning. This learning takes place in context and provides a real understanding of the working world, combining practical skills with theoretical knowledge.

Our programme is unique because apprentices perform real job roles, enabling them to contribute from the beginning of their Xerox career. Throughout the three year structured programme, apprentices are mentored through a variety of roles, experiences and on-the-job training.

The role is supplemented by off-the-job learning delivered by a designated training provider. During the three years, apprentices gain two professional qualifications;

  • Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3) – equivalent to ‘A’ Levels

  • Higher Apprenticeship (Level 4) – equivalent to a higher education certificate, higher education diploma or a foundation degree

These two elements of the apprenticeship are underpinned by a comprehensive support network. We assign a mentor for each apprentice to offer career guidance, based on a documented personal development plan. Apprentices are also supported by line managers, apprentice business leads and the talent team, enabling them to be truly embedded within Xerox.

We currently have apprentices aged 18-24 within our large account, customer service, leasing & HR business areas.

Requirements

The requirements of the programme are 2 A Levels (A*-C) and 5 GCSEs (A*-C), some roles may also require a full clean driving licence. Only candidates who match these requirements, or have alternative qualifications which equate to such grades, will pass the initial screening process.
